Frigate Hens -Women running boats
We've started a club called Frigate Hens - Its for all women who sail, boat or work on the water. Don't get me wrong, we like guys! We also recognize the generations before us that battled to be in new spaces as females. We want to celebrate that, because, what do you know, here we are.
August is Women's Month on MJ
August is our month for All Girls Sails - called Pink Salts! We offer these for teens and for adult groups of women. During our on the water retreat, we bond, empower, and of course, sail a tall ship.
Our Pink Salts Saila for Teen Girls are held Mondays, August 3 and 10 at 12:30 pm.
Our Pink Salts Sails for Women are held Mondays, August 24 and 31 at 12:30 pm.

Aug 15 Women's Brunch
We are proud to be hosting our first women's brunch for all those women that sail, boat, or work on the water. This will be a time to up our on deck game, as well as network, and inspire other's like you. The brunch will be a mix of facilitated discussions/sharing, a panel conversation on seamanship, and a short talk to inspire.

Why a Club Called Frigate Hens?
Back in the day there were sailing ship's called "Hen Frigates;" and although not the huge warships technically classified as a frigate, they were vessels that had strong female rolls and duties included in their roster. Often, it was the Captain's wife, managing the social experience and programing for passengers onboard.
The Frigate Hen Club, is a nod to these past women on deck, and a symbol for those who sail, work tall ships, drive motor boats, and do other bad ass stuff. Feel free to connect with us.
